Is this dress appropriate or too revealing for my age (16)? [pics included]?

Earlier this week I bought a dress to wear to various parties and activities this summer. However, I'm starting to think it's a little too 'revealing' for simple social get-togethers and graduation parties. I'd like some opinions; do you all think this dress isn't appropriate for a girl my age (I'm 16)?

I do have a horrible sunburn right now, so there's no need to comment on the redness of my skin! I'm normally a considerably fair skinned person.

I love the dress, but in all honesty, it is a bit too revealing for something like a get together. The dress cuts down too low in the front, and the back speaks for itself.

Reply:I love the dress, and I think it looks great on you, but it definitely looks really dressy... I don't know about it being for "simple get togethers, various parties and activities." this is something I would wear to a nice dinner, or some sort of dance, but not a casual summer event.

but too formal for hang-outs, summertime parties and such,


it's more of a formal-but-not-prom type of apparel

wear a short necklace with that dress, or else peoples eyes will always be on (or at least give them an opportunity to look at) ur chest


short necklace will also make u look more sophisticated

i think since your boobs are not very big, its is actually ok.. but just a simple get together its too much. U should save it for a more special occasion..
