A straight girl who dresses in guy clothes?

I'm a 13 year old girl who is 100% straight. But I would rather wear guys clothes then girls. I just find they are way more comfortable. I find girls clothes just don't suit me or they are itchy and too tight fitting, I would rather be comfortable then stylish. Some people think i'm weird. I think everyone should be able to dress how they want.

You are right. If the dresses are not comfortable , no question of wearing that dress.
Reply:when i was 13 i was the same way. =]

nothing wrong with being yourself.

wear what you want, and feel good wearing it!

thats how i look at it.
Reply:thats good that your just being yourself,

until i reached age 11 i was probably stuck as a little boy

and now all i want to wear are dresses (: But if your comfortable in guys clothes then go you!
Reply:well u can find stuff that are comfy but at the same time styleish
Reply:don't worry about it at all.....the sad truth is that it's SO much more normal for a girl to wear guy's clothing than for a guy to wear girl's clothing...if you told me you were a guy wearing girls clothes, i'd be slightly concerned............but don't worry about the people that say you're weird, trust me you're completely fine.....(and im not even saying this as a girl who wears guys clothes too....i dress pretty girly)
Reply:yes! they should! why do people HAVE to dresss up in the latest fashion or HAVE to look like the others?? i say we should wear w/e we want nd not get insulted for it.. w/e tho. nd no its normal my sis actually steals some of her guy firends clothes lol she finds them wayy more comofrtable too.. me idk mybe lol
Reply:well i wear guy's basketball shorts but thats all
Reply:I'm sure that you have a constitutional right to dress how you want (matters of public decency excepted.)

It is also true that the way you choose to dress has a very strong effect on how people see you.

You can dress however you want, but people (all your wishes to the contrary) DO make a lasting judgment about you in the first 20 seconds, mostly on visual cues

It's not just a choice between "comfortable" and "stylish".. There are an infinity of other judgments. You might be judged as trustworthy or not, sane or insane, attractive or unattractive, intelligent or stupid, ill or healthy ...

I can understand having problems getting things to fit comforably. Finally, after decades of searching, I've find jeans that fit well - in the Kids' section of Wal-Mart!

It takes patience to try on two or three sizes of the same garment, but the reward is something that looks and feels good. And if doesn't, don't buy it.

Unlike earlier days, when men and women dressed quite differently, there are now very few (if any) mens' garments that are not acceptable on a woman. T-shirts, jeans, shirts, boots, tuxedos ... What can't you wear?

Nobody says you have to wear fussy pink and lace.

If it's itchy and tight-fitting, don't buy it.

As long as your clothes are decent, clean and well-fitting, I don't think guys' clothes/girls' clothes is really an issue.

Buy your clothes from whatever department it takes (male, female, children, work, leisure ...) to find things that fit.

No one says you should dress uncomfortably, but if you make comfort your first consideration, be prepared to live with the consequences.
