I was gonna purhase some American Eagle Graphic T's over online but im not sure what size to get, im 5'10, 182 pounds, im not fat but i dont have six packs, anyone who bought this have any idea on what size i should get? American Eagle stuff comes out pretty small overall right? About what size should i wear? Im asking because im ordering online if i order wrong size it would take a while to refund and stuff, please help! i know they have a size chart it doesn't really help (btw i dont like tight clothes that make my chest pop out or something but i dont want something really big i usually like wearing shirts a little bigger then actual fit like preps wear)

American Eagle sizes are pretty small over all. Since you dont like tight clothes...you should go with a large. a medium would fit..but it would be tight and since you dont like tight clothes a large will be perfect.

How do i convince my parens to let me get my ear pierced?
im a guy and i have one of my ears pierced. i got my left ear pierced by a gun when i was in teh 5th grade. now i gauged my left ear to a 12 and i want to pierce my right ear to a 12 so i can wear captive hoops in both of my ears. but im having a hard time convincing my mom. i think im going to use something like, i dont smoke, drink, or do drugs why cant i do this because its not like im a problme child. any other suggestions will help.

A lot of parents see bad examples of kids with gauges and think it will lead to their kid becoming a punk. Just prove that you will remain a good kid no matter how you look. If that doesn't work - see if you can work out a deal. Ex: She'll let you pierce the ear, and you'll scrape the old paint off the porch this summer (or somthing of the likes!)

The only time I don't have to worry is during softball season, because I'm the JV and Varsity catcher, so I play 12 innings a night, and our softball program hasn't gotten very far yet (it's still new), so we play long hard innings in the 90 degree humid Missouri weather. That usually burns enough calories in a day to last me a month. I look like an anorexic freak. Don't get me wrong, I feel good from having that exercise, but it's exhausting and difficult, and most definatley affected me mentally. (Lucky this year we'll have a JV catcher and our pitching will have improved, so it won't be as tiresome on me.)
And think the most important thing is being at a healthy weight and doing things to keep your body healthy, while loving your body for all that it has to offer (from curves to long legs), is what is the perfect balance. Being an anorexic freak isn't always the answer. It takes a terrible mental toll on you.

Okay, so... I've been thinking about this and just want to know your opinion. What "label" would you consider me? I'm personally not into labeling, but I don't want to seem like a poser, either. So, I'll tell you a little about my style and self, and you tell me what you'd consider me... As for clothes, I wear a mix of pretty much everything, from American Eagle, Abercrombie %26amp; Fitch, PacSun, %26amp; the occasional Glamour Kills tee. I usually wear bootcut dark wash jeans and flip flops, although I have a pair of converses. As for music, I like the pop-punk sound and don't really listen to the radio/popular music. (All Time Low is my favorite band, and though they are receiving more recognition they are not as big (in my opinion) as say, Rihanna or the Jonas Brothers.) I also listen to bands like Automatic Loveletter, Sing it Loud, and the like. My looks? I have brown hair with the side-bangs thing going on. (Yeah, yeah, I know... everyone has it, lol =]) I wear eyeliner, but not tons.

I have a group interview for macys coming up...whats it like?
I haven't had one with Macys...but I've had LOTS of group interviews. They are great. You will probably "bond with" or relate to one or two of the peple more so than others...which is great, because in a 1 on 1 interview you may not hit it off with that person and then you're in trouble! If it helps, keep eye contact a lot with those people. Once you're at the group stage, they really want to see if you are a good fit. Can you get a long with that group? Can you communicate well with others? (My favorite line...that ALWAYS gets a giggle...especially if you have already met (and have good rapport with ) one of the interviewers is to walk into the room and say something along the lines of "Well this is better than I expected...I was nervous and was picturing a police interrogation room..." They usually laugh and it lightens the mood. Each person will probably just ask a question or two (maybe they have something in particular that they like to look for)...I have never had a bad group interview. I like them because you have many different personalities that keep the conversation going. Just remember to keep your answers to under 2 minutes!

I would just like to say that it hurts like crap taking them off. And everything is hard to do. I couldn't push in the lock on my bathroom door. I thought I wanted them for my Freshman Formal, but they were horrible. I would not suggest them.

I let her get the kind of nails found in the beauty section of stores and she applies them with the nail glue that comes in the package. After oohhhing and aahhhing over the nails and feeling oh so pretty, she soon discovers that she can't open a soda can (which she doesn't do very often anyway), she can't pick up tiny objects easily, she has trouble with buttons and needs help unbuttoning her jeans when she needs to use the bathroom, and the list goes on. After about 1-2 days, if she can tolerate it that long, the nails come off. Then there is the painful process of removing the nails. That nail glue is pretty tough and even when done correctly, it can feel as if you are removing your own fingernails along with the fake ones. There is a reason why inserting objects underneath fingernails and removing fingernails is often considered a form of torture. Fortunately, I've only allowed my daughter to get these types of nails 2-3 times in the past year in order to show her that she is not ready yet for the acrylic kind you get at a nail salon.
Now on to the acrylic nails. I personally have had my nails done (acrylic) 3 times in my life. The first time was done by my sisters when I got married to my first husband. They did a wonderful, painless job and the nails were beautiful. On my honeymoon however, I found there were many things I couldn't do because the nails were thick and unbending and I had to use objects to help me with simple tasks, such as opening a soda can. I had taken 2 days of my honeymoon slowly and carefully prying these nails off my fingers. It was painful, but I was determined.
The 2nd time I had my nails done, the woman was professional, but she tried to rush, as it was near closing time, and it hurt. See, when they put those nails on your fingers, they file and smooth them down and because they are thick and not made of actual fingernail, they have to use an instrument which pushes very hard on the nails in order to file them down. Because these nails are attached to your own nails, the pressure put on the fake nails puts pressure on your own nails, which are attached to your nailbed. This can be painful.
If the person doing your nails is careless and rushed, as was the case when my stepdaughter gave me a gift certificate to have my nails done for my wedding to her father (my 2nd and last marriage), there can not only be pain, but the skin can be cut and can bleed as well. That's what happened to me when I got my nails done for the 3rd time. I mean, this woman caused me intense pain and I am a person with a very high pain tolerance. I didn't yell out during childbirth and only said in a normal tone of voice : "ow, it hurts" and I function perfectly normally with intense migraines that would put another person flat on their back and in bed. For me to say that it can be painful to have your nails done says that the person who did my nails was horrible, although she made my nails look very pretty. I have talked to several women and more than half of those I've talked to have said that it hurts to get their nails done. Those who say it doesn't hurt have been fortunate to find someone who is gentle. Many times these nail professionals get paid very little and they depend on putting nails on as many customers as possible in order to increase their income. This is probably why many of them rush and cause pain. They're just trying to earn a living.
Your mother probably feels you are too young to get your nails done, although as a mother of a 19-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter, I don't believe 8th grade is too young for acrylic nails if a girl really wants them. I do believe however, that your mother, who herself gets her nails done, is trying to spare you what she knows will likely be a painful experience. She is also likely trying to avoid you having to keep nails on longer than you want them on because you will find they can be cumbersome and make using your fingers for simple things difficult. Your mother likely knows that if you pay the money to get your nails done (which can be expensive), only to want them off in a few days, it will not only be a waste of money, but will bring you physical pain as you try to remove the nails when you can't get used to them.

If you don't want to do this, then consider asking your mother if you can still get your nails done in a salon without having the acrylic nails put on. There are other ways of getting beautiful nails without spending too much money.
All in all, when you graduate, people will appreciate the effort you put into your appearance, but they will be more interested in the fact that you are now embarking on a life as a new high school student than they will be in how your nails, or hair or makeup or clothing look. I know it's important to you, but if your mother remains adamant about your nails, you can still hold your head up and be proud because you are graduating from 8th grade and that in itself is something you can feel good about. Anyone who is so shallow as to think you don't look as good as you could because your nails aren't done is not someone whose opinion should matter to you anyway. That said, I want to wish you my congratulations on your graduation. Have fun in high school next year.

It you like the shape of a triangle top, try one that has ruffles so it gives the appearance of having more up top. Bandeou (spelling?) tops work well for people with smaller busts.

It's so cute and comfortable and cheap, too! I wore it to a pool party and didn't worry about anything!

The pattern might also be too small if you are tall/big-boned, but if you are petite, then it would balance out and look good.

If you're not sure, then I would say get something else, because if you don't truly love it, then you won't be happy wearing it and will regret not getting one you really wanted, right?

i'm trying to lose weight, and i'm all out of proportion and need a bathing suit. i used to be a 38DD or D once in a while and size 2, and now i'm 40G and a size 9 (thank you, pregnancy). i can't find a suit that fits my boobs and isn't saggy around my waist. anyone know of anywhere? online, stores, anything.

My life that was good seems so long ago.
Now I awake and I鈥檓 scared that something is wrong, something is not right.
What if one day she feels like life is no longer worth it and decides to leave.
How I will get through the long bitter days of grief.
I wish some one was there to hold me, to tell me it will all be ok.
But how, when no one knows the silent pain I go through.
Maybe one day I鈥檒l awake in world with no violence, where I can feel accepted and loved.
But then I remember life isin鈥檛 a faerie tale.
Maybe if I wish a pond a star, I can leave and be, the one I truly wish to be.

That is really good, but on the last line, do you mean "wish upon a star"? But other than that it was really well written. If you are writing this about yourself, I'm sorry you are going through a hard time now. But on the other hand you are a very talented writer. I would keep writing if I were you because as you grow you can write even better.
