Im goin into the city tomorrow to meet people. Were going out for dinner then maybe clubs idk.... but idk what to wear. this is a first time meeting so i dont know what there wearing. I want to wear nice plaid shorts, nice polo.. but i was told i shouldnt wear that into the city and clubs wont allow it... then i was told to wear kahkis, with button down shirt...... but its going to be so hot out.. even at night it will be 70's or higher... what should i wear? i dont want to be overdressed but i dont want everyone else to dress up etc..

pple are always EXTREMELY dressed up in nyc... you HAVE to be dressed up at all times or pple will seriously look at you crazy. nyc is very fashion oriented... afterall... it is one of the fashion capitals of the world. with that being said... some nicely fitted khakis and a sexy button up shirt (fitted just right... not too big.... not too tight) with the top few buttons left down a bit... and a nice belt. there ya go... works for day and night... :)
oh and by the way... i'm not thinking of a sunday best sort of look... but more of a just got off of work.. threw my blazer over my shoulder and unbuttoned my shirt a bit to loosen up... thats sexy. lol...
and im not from nyc but i have spent much time there... but i agree... if you plan on going to the club then an undershirt would be a good idea so u can take the button down off and cool down a bit. but even at a casual restaurant... it is still a good idea to be overdressed than underdressed in nyc. either way... hope you hav a good time. :)

well it depends on the club. if it is a nice club they arent going to allow it. you should probably wear the kahkis ( you decide if they do look nice) and a nice looking polo but it shouldn't be multicolored. one color is good.
Reply:no offense to that girl but i highly doubt she lives in nyc. we're not as strict as she makes it seems we're not some crazy vicious fashionistas that will hunt you down for wearing the wrong thing. wear a wife beater inside your button down shirt if anything so if you get really hot you can just take it off. It's suppose to be really hot from like saturday till tuesday. and for your bottoms, i'm not really sure. but for the most part, wear light colored fabric that has a loose fit.

Abercrombie and fitch orientation?
Hey guys i had got a call back from abercrombie and fitch teeling me I had got a job there and they told me to come in for orientation at 9 on sunday morning. The mall doesn't open until 11 on sundays though. So what am i supposed to do. It seems weird.

My neighbor is 19 and is part of mall security. He has the authority to detain people, but from what I hear he rarely does. Every month, a guard's "stats" are tracked to evaluate his performance. In his first 3 months, he only "arrested" 4 people, but one got away and one was completely innocent. His boss says he is too nice for this job. In the last month or so, he has done better by detaining 9 people.
But one day he overheard his boss saying that if he doesn't get to double digits (one more) by the end of the period (june 10) then he's gone. He has three days to arrest someone. He wants to play it safe and "arrest me." It would take place after school Monday. I would come in and sit on a bench. He would come over, pretend I was hiding stuff I stole in my school uniform and handcuff me. I would be taken to the back, and placed in a holding room. He would record the arrest. But as soon as his boss leaves (3 hours later), he would throw out my file and release me. For sitting in a room handcuffed in my school uniform pretending be a shoplifter, I would get $60, and unlimited use of his mall discount. So should I do it?

a white/silvery skirt(my personal choice) and a nice blouse. the skirt goes to my knees.
or a simple black knee length skirt with a nice blouse

Measurements needed to make jewelery?
I have to make some jewelery for someone that is not here so I cannot take measurements...I need to know the measurement in inches for 3 sizes of necklaces: around the base of the throat, resting over the heart, and on top of the breastbone. I also need to know the measurement around the wrist--both above the wrist bone and slightly below the wrist bone. this is for a man who is 6 feet 2 inches, b/w 40-50 years old, average weight. so if you fit these criteria or you have someone around that does: please help me out here!!!!

when i take pictures i want to put them on my computer, so i take my memory card out of my camera and stick it in to my computer and the wizard thing pops up so i can download them onto my computer. but one day i turned on my computer put my memory card in and nothing popped up! can someone tell me how to fix this please.

Wear sweat pants(to be comfortable when you sleep and move) a sweatshirt(same thing and to be warm) and a 100% cotton short sleeved shirt(cotton because you wont be itchy since you sweat when you sleep and short sleeve because, you might actually get hot and cant stand the heat.) You can get this at any mall, macys JCPenny, hollister and abercrombie (a little pricey) any store that sells clothes basically. You will be giving a blanket, pillow, magazine, earphones to listen to the tv or music, and a barf bag (just incase you get plain sick lol =) food there.. pretty good, not bad. try not to stay still for a long period of time..... your back will hurt a lot, your legs and arms will fall asleep, and the worst part, your neck will ache. good luck and have fun to where ever you're going =0 =) =) =)

I need help picking a cheap dress for a dance ASAP?
I'm a 14 year old girl who is going to her end-of-the-year/ graduation of middle school dance on Wednesday. I really need help picking a dress available in stores (not just online stores) that meet my school's dresscode.
This means that it must have sleaves and it must be "finger-tip length". I would personally like it to be longer than that, because skirts at that length make any 14 year old look like a future, well, sleazebag.
I would personally like it to have either a cute, vintage, or edgy feel to it.

American Eagle Graphic T Sizes?
I was gonna purhase some American Eagle Graphic T's over online but im not sure what size to get, im 5'10, 182 pounds, im not fat but i dont have six packs, anyone who bought this have any idea on what size i should get? American Eagle stuff comes out pretty small overall right? About what size should i wear? Im asking because im ordering online if i order wrong size it would take a while to refund and stuff, please help! i know they have a size chart it doesn't really help (btw i dont like tight clothes that make my chest pop out or something but i dont want something really big i usually like wearing shirts a little bigger then actual fit like preps wear)

How do i convince my parens to let me get my ear pierced?
im a guy and i have one of my ears pierced. i got my left ear pierced by a gun when i was in teh 5th grade. now i gauged my left ear to a 12 and i want to pierce my right ear to a 12 so i can wear captive hoops in both of my ears. but im having a hard time convincing my mom. i think im going to use something like, i dont smoke, drink, or do drugs why cant i do this because its not like im a problme child. any other suggestions will help.

Reply:You have to have really good peace with your body. Most people think that because your skinny you can splurge a little with an extra scoop of ice cream or not have to exercise. I'm working on being perfectly fine with my body as long as it's healthy, but you still worry about calories and gaining weight and all that crap. The only time I don't have to worry is during softball season, because I'm the JV and Varsity catcher, so I play 12 innings a night, and our softball program hasn't gotten very far yet (it's still new), so we play long hard innings in the 90 degree humid Missouri weather. That usually burns enough calories in a day to last me a month. I look like an anorexic freak. Don't get me wrong, I feel good from having that exercise, but it's exhausting and difficult, and most definatley affected me mentally. (Lucky this year we'll have a JV catcher and our pitching will have improved, so it won't be as tiresome on me.)
And think the most important thing is being at a healthy weight and doing things to keep your body healthy, while loving your body for all that it has to offer (from curves to long legs), is what is the perfect balance. Being an anorexic freak isn't always the answer. It takes a terrible mental toll on you.

Okay, so... I've been thinking about this and just want to know your opinion. What "label" would you consider me? I'm personally not into labeling, but I don't want to seem like a poser, either. So, I'll tell you a little about my style and self, and you tell me what you'd consider me... As for clothes, I wear a mix of pretty much everything, from American Eagle, Abercrombie %26amp; Fitch, PacSun, %26amp; the occasional Glamour Kills tee. I usually wear bootcut dark wash jeans and flip flops, although I have a pair of converses. As for music, I like the pop-punk sound and don't really listen to the radio/popular music. (All Time Low is my favorite band, and though they are receiving more recognition they are not as big (in my opinion) as say, Rihanna or the Jonas Brothers.) I also listen to bands like Automatic Loveletter, Sing it Loud, and the like. My looks? I have brown hair with the side-bangs thing going on. (Yeah, yeah, I know... everyone has it, lol =]) I wear eyeliner, but not tons.
