How do i convince my parens to let me get my ear pierced?

im a guy and i have one of my ears pierced. i got my left ear pierced by a gun when i was in teh 5th grade. now i gauged my left ear to a 12 and i want to pierce my right ear to a 12 so i can wear captive hoops in both of my ears. but im having a hard time convincing my mom. i think im going to use something like, i dont smoke, drink, or do drugs why cant i do this because its not like im a problme child. any other suggestions will help.

Reply:Even if you already do alot, step it up and show more responsibilty. Be the most proper, well mannered person you can be. A lot of parents see bad examples of kids with gauges and think it will lead to their kid becoming a punk. Just prove that you will remain a good kid no matter how you look. If that doesn't work - see if you can work out a deal. Ex: She'll let you pierce the ear, and you'll scrape the old paint off the porch this summer (or somthing of the likes!)
Reply:Ask her, her reason for not allowing you, and sit down to hear her out, then start compromising with her. For example, in return for the ear piercing, say that you will do extra chores for it. If that doesn't work, you can always try to prove that you deserve something like this.





It doesn't hurt to compliment her sometimes, and always listen you her. Moms always put a smile on their face when their children compliment them. I'm sure she'll give in some day, and allow you to pierce your ears.
Reply:Either talk to her and see why she won't let you get them pierced, if she wont budge on what she will let you do then wait till your of legal age to get it done.
