Why everyone wears hollister, abercromie!?

people where only hollister, abercrombie, american eagle, and aeropostale at my school. i dont wear ant. I could understand buying a cute shirt, but all these people wear advertiment shirts. you know thw one that have the huge name on it and most of the shits are so plain and expensive. peopel who wear it always comment eachother and admit to to having the same shirt as someone else. the should shop at better stores. i'm an original

Reply:I am an original too. Get this....my daughter came home from school last week and told me that a girl was wearing an AE shirt, and even left the price tag on so everyone can see!! How lame is that?

Reply:I think it's supposed to give that clean, look and make it seem like you have a lot of money or something. They see people on the media wear them. I have a shirt from abercrombie and I think one from hollister, I love american eagle and aeropostale, they aren't as expensive and they have nice clothes, my abercrombie shirt is the most comfortable shirt i've ever had. Name brands are popular, just do what you got to, look at price too! that's why i don't have much stuff from a lot of those stores.
Reply:baisically because IT IS a safe bet. in other words, other people will accept them. even though most of their clothing is EXACTLY the same just different shades and logo position, teens today think its fashionable, which IS NOT. wearing a plain teen shirt smirked with HOLISTER, AE, and ALL those clone stores again is NOT FASHION. ;]
Reply:I have seen cute pieces but you are right. Most of these tees have little or no design at all. All of the kids that wear these are basically ad children. I don't mind if anyone wears it because they like it.





What bothers me is that this is just a trend, a simple trend. And I am like you, I wear colorful things. I don't like being a walking billboard! :)
Reply:i so agree.. all they're shirts are the same and they all have "abercrombie" or "hollister" over the top....that is nothing unique. I personally like shopping where they sell different type of clothing. I dont go to any of those places.

Reply:I wear Hollister and A%26amp;F,they have such cute stuff! But it is kinda annoying to sometimes see people that have the same shirt as you. But Aeropostale is tacky crap, I don't wear it..
Reply:I admit i have a couple shirts from Hollister and AE. I dont like shopping at those stores unless i see something i REALLY like because your paying like 60 bucks for a shirt that says hollister on it. Everyone at my school wears it to its pretty lame. I dont even wear my hollister stuff that much because everyone has the exact same shirt!
Reply:I use to be into name brands for about a year, and then I realized how ridiculous they were. Friends before wouldn't even TALK to me if I wasn't wearing a shirt from Abercrombie, but after I bought stuff from them...I realized their stuff really isn't cute or special in any way, just expensive because there was a moose embroidery on it. You can get the same style of shirt for ten bucks at target or a place like that. I think that most of the time it's just insecure people who buy them to fit in with other equally insecure people. That's my opinion on name brands.

i admit it i tried to fit in and i wore hollister junk and everything but it got to speedy and i could find like the same stuff way cheapier at target! i dont wanna be a huge billboard advertising for em!! i am more of an athletic/tomboy/skater girl person so i quit going there a few years ago and i buy stuff so i dont fit in! i shop at zumiez,tillys,...even jcpenneys


i feel more comfortable when i am myself and different and being true to myself than look like all those "preps" ha lol jk
Reply:Oh, ew I know! Well, I'll admit that I used to be into their clothes, but recently I've been really noticing the prices. THEY'RE OUTRAGEOUS! I guess people just buy the stuff there because its a way to show that they have a lot of money to spend. But I'm really not sure. But I think it's way cooler to get cute clothes and no spend a fortune :)
