Why do people hate Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, and American Eagle?

Why do people hate Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, and American Eagle?
In some cases, it's because they feel that the stores are no longer "exclusive." Before, not many people wore clothes from those stores, making them special and unique, and now that they are extremely popular, everyone's wearing them.
Why do people hate Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, and American Eagle?
cause its cheaply made, over priced crap.





and furthermore, why would i want to sit back and just follow trends? wouldnt it be more fun to be out there MAKING them?








somewhere below me someone said "the only people who hate them are the ones who cant afford to shop there"...well, dude, you need to think before you speak. if it was good quality clothes, yeah, it would be reasonably priced. but im not going to spend that much on a t shirt that looks like it will fall apart in a week
Reply:people hate them for a number of reasons. first off they think its stupid people are "walking billboards" with the stores names across their chest, or a bunch of insignias on their shirts. People also think the stores sell similar apparel, and may not like the style of clothes. Others think the clothes are overpriced, or the sizes run too small.

Reply:I guess people hate them because they represent the "preps" and people want to be different, so they choose to hate the stores that are so popular among other people. I don't care for any of the stores really, I've seen some of their clothes and they don't look too bad, but the prices just aren't for me.

These haters have to buy their rags at Kmart or the Dollar Store cuz they are poor and stupid.

Reply:There are several reasons why people could hate these 3 stores..Some people believe that these stores are way to expensive because shorts ar $40.00 and sometimes shirts are $30.00 and people think those are outrageous prices..Personally i dont understand why people are making such a big deal out of these stores because if they are to expensive then no one is forcing you to shop there. Also people dont like abercrombie because people think there is inapropiate pictures around but it is only really people in bathing suits and topless guys..Another reason is people think these stores arent there style which is fine because no one has to be the exact same..

im nott saying i dont shop there (cause i doo:) but some people are into the preppy/social look and some peole are into the scene look or whatever style.
Reply:I think they are just too expensive and the clothes look plain and boring. I think the people behind the overly sexual advertising are immoral homosexuals pushing their agenda on teens. I am not impressed with these stores.
Reply:i love them too, i always ask my friends stuff like that. I guess some people find them to "preppy" or something, i find them extremly cute, %26amp;%26amp; i mean i wouldnt go shopping @ like hot topic or something. It's just not my style.

Reply:WHAT!!!!!!!! Those stores are awesome!!! Who hates those stores except for the people who cant where anything out of them. They are very similar but unique clothing to me. IDK about other people but I ~LOVE~ those stores!!!!
Reply:I DON'T THINK PEOPLE HATE THESE STORES! every where you go you see people wearing them! I feel people wear the clothing to show they have money even if don't! If the prices went down the clothing would not be as in style.
Reply:It has nothing to do with the prices in my opinion and a whole lot to do with sophistication. These stores cater to people in seventh and eighth grade that are too young and naive to realize that what theses stores seel is complete trash and lacking in real modern style, after one realizes this the may graduate to the higher end stores like bloomingdales, nordstroms, urban outfitters, anthroplogy, etc.
