I bought one from my manager for $50
It looks totally real. One of my associates said its fake...Help!
How do I know If my Coach purse is real??
It would be stamped "COACH" on the inside
How do I know If my Coach purse is real??
If it was $50 it's probably fake.
Reply:Take it to a Coach store and ask a salesperson.
Reply:bring it into the store and ask.
Reply:There should be a stitched on patch with the purses individual serial number, inside the purse.
It should say " This is a coach bag. It was handcrafted in China..."
Yes, Coach is made in China; even a genuine Coach, is made in the same country all the fakes are.--by the same employees, sometimes-- My wife wont buy coach anymore, only channel and prada (French and Italian)
Congrats if it is real, 50$ is a good deal either way.
Reply:if you bought it in Chinatown, it's fake.
Reply:it should have a code/serial number , and it should have a stamp with the origin where it was made inside
Reply:i was told if its reall it will have a serial number inside it.
Reply:Umm by the way the picture is not viewable...
okay and 3 reasons why its fake...
1. u got it for $50
2. Someone told you its fake
3. if it doesnt have the original coach stampings inside the bag...
soo its probably fake...
for better results talk to a real coach sales associate...they will know for sure..
Reply:seriously smell it.. if it smells bad like gross kinda... it is fake but if it just smells like leather it means its real.. and the material is stronger and darker colored if it is real
Reply:definately fake if it $50, I bought a wristlet at the factory for $130, there's no way in hell.
stamps, serial #s...alll that stuff doesn't prove it, the material and the zipper...thats what will determine if you're purse is real, it's most likely not, these fake coach bags are exact replicas now a days...the only diffference is the materials used.
Reply:use the code on the inside of the purse online and c if its real!
Reply:the fabric u no when it changes to an angle like uhhh goes to a different side then it should directly continue its pattern 4 an example 1 side is a piece of fabric. the other side is the same kind of fabric but is off a bit. like it does not continue straight. it looks like fabric all put together without seeing if it connects.
Reply:$50 i doubt its real
Reply:look at the stitching. if it is obvious, it is fake. and also it should have coach stamped on the inside, along with where it was made. if it says made in china, be wary
Reply:The link doesn't work.
There are ways to tell if a bag is real or a fake, but, like with counterfeit money, you have to really know what the real thing looks like first in order to distinguish it from a fake.
High quality bag manufacturers like Coach are very particular about the fabric they use, the way the pattern lines up, the stitching, the lining, the font used for imprinting the tag and stamp...absolutely everything. Fakes almost always try to make themselves look more authentic by providing a dust bag and sometimes additional tags or other "proofs" that the item is genuine.
I really wish your photo link had worked...I'm pretty good at spotting fake Coach!!
*EDIT! A stamp on the inside does NOT necessarily mean it's authentic. Many fakes have a stamp, too, but the text font won't precisely match the authentic Coach font.
Reply:can't see the image but lets hope your manager didn't rip you off cause that could lead to an awwwwkward conversation.
Reply:If you can't even tell if it's real, what difference does it make?
Reply:if you find another purse with the same stiching its fake and it has to come with an auethinticy card...............i work at the coach purse store in Denver if it is small purse they around 100 dollars
