Measurement for bras?

Is the band size on the actual bra supposed to be a certain width? if so, what is it supposed to be for 32B and 34B?

I just measured by 32B and my 34B, and they're excatly the same? but they're not by the same company.

Sizes are often different in different brands. Just wear what is comfortable to you.

Reply:the numbers(32,34,etc) is supposed to be the width around and the a,b,c,d, etc is actual chest size, but company's will vary, i too buy between a few company's at different sizes! heh
Reply:Different brands fit differently. Go to a department store and get properly measured. They will ask you what type of bra you like first, so they can help you find the right size in that one. Speaking of, I had never been measured before and I was wearing a bra way too small. I thought it was supposed to fit like that. I had always worn a 38D and I knew it was tight, just figured it was supposed to fit that way. I went to the mall last week and turns out I'm a 42 DD.
Reply:The band size is your underbust measurements plus 3-5 inches. So if under your bust you measure 29 inches, then your band size will either be 32 or 34.

32B:

27-29 inches underbust

33-35 inhces fullbust

34B:

29-31 inches underbust

35-27 inches fullbust
