Reply:Jelly shoes is not something i would buy, but to each his/her own, It may not be to attractive in the picture, but when it is on the foot it looks totally different and beautiful.

Sometimes price has nothing to do with it, i bought a pair of steven madden shoes(flats) recently, its looks so beautiful,in picture, but when on the foot, it did not look that great, but i still use it.

I am about 23 and will be graduating from college soon. Since am going to be entering the business World, i need clothes to be able to present myself in. I used to be a big fan of forever21 and gojane.com, but am no longer a teenager so i need to dress the part; besides the clothes and shoes that i have gotten from these places don't last a while. A friend said to stop wasting my money on cheap items that don't last instead spend money on a reasonable* priced item that will last for a while. One of the main thing(s) that scares me is that i am tiny and tall(5"7") so it's difficult to find something that fits. So what would you suggest? Are there places to shop for clothes with good quality without breaking the bank?

Banana republic! is really great, everything is really good quality, and very comfortable. Things there will fit you. BR makes just about every size you can think of. You need to go to the store and try things on. Another good place is Steve and Barry's. People may think that just because that everything is so cheap, thats is bad quality. But its not. Mostly everything is cotton, and very comfortable.

you can wash it in hot water BUT,,, dont put anything else with it cause it will fade on it,,, also,, be sure change the settings back on the washer was on so your mom will not find out.then just dry the shirt wrong side out with a couple of clean towels, MAKE SURE that the shirt is wrong side out also. good luck

Reply:Well, you should choose at least one or the other - glasses or contacts. Your only other alternative is Lasik but it's expensive and who knows what the side effects might be in a little while. Quite honestly, I have contacts and they are very easy to take care of...and you can get colored contacts for a little bit of fun. I have glasses as well for night time or just in case/second alternative. Don't worry about vanity too much...take care of your eyesight.

Otherwise, do contacts. You'll get used to them.

If you are absolutely against either, try LASIK, but it's incredibly risky. Try the first two options first. LASIK should be the absolute last resort.

I'm going to a Bar Mitzvah tomorrow and the invitation says "Party Attire." I have absolutely no idea what that means. The party's at Dave %26amp; Buster's. I'm planning to just where a dress shirt and the pants from my suit.

pants from a suit are not really good to go with a dress shirt. You will look disheveled. And if you don't know much about fashion, I think they are pleated. Go to Gap, or Banana republic and buy a pair of flat front gray pants. Get a Blue pin-stripe shirt that fits! by fit, I mean the shoulder seam is not droopy, and you cannot pull much fabric away from you. The pants should just touch the ground, and the waist should fall at or just below your belly button. Your shoes should be black, no square toe, or scuffed shoes. You belt should also be black, but brown is ok.

Reply:Whatever you do, don't use Rit all-purpose dyes for tie-dyeing cotton. Rit dye is a hot water dye, best used by boiling the fabric in the dye for half an hour or longer. If you try to do a multicolor tie-dye with Rit, the colors will run together, fade quickly, and bleed forever in the laundry. It is very important to use a good tie-dye kit, not Rit dye. Your results will be much brighter and prettier, and will last for years instead of a few weeks.

The best tie-dye kits contain fiber reactive dyes. These are cool water dyes, which are set with washing soda (also known as soda ash). You cannot find these dyes in a pharmacy or grocery store, but any decent crafts store will sell them, and so will most fabric stores. Sometimes even Walmart will sell a good tie-dye kit.

Good brands of tie-dye kits include Jacquard, Dylon, Tulip, and Rainbow Rock. In the US, Jacquard is the best kit you can buy in a crafts store, but the others can give good results, too. Jacquard sells a "Funky Groovy Tie-Dye Kit" which will dye five t-shirts, or a larger Tie-Dye Kit which will dye fifteen shirts. If you mail order them from MisterArt, they charge $7.82 for the smaller kit and $12.99 for the larger one.

One of the best places to buy tie-dyeing supplies in the US is Dharma Trading Company (by mail order unless you live near San Rafael, California). They sell the best type of dyes (Procion MX dyes) and an incredible array of white cotton clothing that is perfect for dyeing. Dyes purchased in two-ounce jars (you need turquoise, fuchsia, and lemon yellow, or chose your favorite colors from over a hundred different color choices) are much cheaper than those bought in tie-dye kits, though those are still a much better buy than Rit dye, which will dye only half a pound of fabric per $3 box. The kits also contain urea, soda ash, and plastic gloves. Be sure when you buy shirts to dye that you get only 100% cotton or dyeable rayon, and don't get the stain-resistant type of shirt, because they resist dye, too.

Do you know any stores that i can buy thongs at that are nice and have a website because i can't ask for a Victoria's secret card or my mom will know i want to buy thongs because i have been bugging her about that and she won't let me. I really liked the idea of this swimsuit at first, but when I thought over it a little, I thought the skirt was a little girly, and weird. Ok so for my Bat-Mitzvah I might be doing "IN LIVING COLOR" for the theme. I want to find black yamikas with silver trim that have all different color Grateful Dead Bears dancing around, like in a circle around the yamika. Anyone know where I can find these? Reply:July is right. Reef are a little more expensive but the best for flat feet. Trust me when I say that a bad pair of flip flops can really cause pain for flat footed people.

Try Tillys or another surf/skate shop. Have fun on your vacation...and save the 50.
Reply:My daughter has really flat feet and I have to buy her skeechers flip flops you can get them at Shoe Carnival and also JcPennys. They run about 30 dollars but they are comfortable they have plain ones, striped ones and I think poka dots this year.

well really it kind of depends.

some people have really wide hips but super thin legs, or they have curves.

so really it all depends on the person.

i'd say if you're comfortable in the shorts/skirts then it's okay. if you're worried, like, "what are people gonna think? i know this looks bad," then i would try to find something with a little more fabric. ;]

I feel as long as you feel good about what you are wearing and don't have all fat hanging out you are fine. Big girls can wear shorts etc as long as you don't look sloppy.

The original super model Janice Dickenson was considered at first to have the wrong look. They wanted blondes. They wanted a more feminine face. In some cases, it's because they feel that the stores are no longer "exclusive." Before, not many people wore clothes from those stores, making them special and unique, and now that they are extremely popular, everyone's wearing them.

People also think the stores sell similar apparel, and may not like the style of clothes. Others think the clothes are overpriced, or the sizes run too small.

Reply:I don't think you'd suit a lip piercing... you have very strong features and are quite pretty because of that and i think a facial piercing would just be too much.

For hair ... have you considered dip-dying it? Keep your hair dark but add some vibrant colours ... like red or blue or purple or pink or whatever...either just dip-dye it (just colouring the ends of your hair) or put a streak or two through it. The bright colour is really good when contasting with dark hair.

i wear boot cut or skinny jeans--dark colors

tees or tanks (usually bright colors like green or orange or blue)

flips flops, some flats, converse, or skate shoes all year--boots sometimes in the winter

i some times wear bows in my hair which is layered, and worn naturally (curly), straight, or in a pony (i also have side bangs)

i wear gold hoops or silver studs and i have 3 piercings (2 on my ear lobes and one at the top of my ear)

Well my birthday's in like two days and I've been wanting to buy some stuff from HotTopic.com but the thing is I had all the stuff I was going to buy from there on my wishlist and I was going to order it tommorow. But when I went on there today basicaly all their items are out of stock, just in like one day. (luck isnt on my side -_-)

Hi there - I am a size 8.5 EE and I have a very large bunion on my right foot (on the side of my big toe). I actually need orthotics. I have tried on Ecco shoes (No good for me), Aravon (also no good), Birkenstocks (the Braga came the closest in a size 40), as well as a bunch of other brands.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a brand of shoe that is good for really wide feet. I need them for work - I work in retail in a Jewelry store and dress code is formal attire (suit and such).

I am looking for a shoe that is closed on the toe (I will settle for a lace up if I absolutely must), is leather and prefer no heals (but dont mind a 2-3" heal as long as it is a thick heel that is as wide as the shoe - no narrow ones).

Can the ladies out there (even if you are not a size 8.5) recommend a good quality COMFORTABLE shoe??? Thanks.

Some brands I have enjoyed over the years include Rockport and Mephisto. I wore Mephistos during my pregnancy when my feet swelled and they were like air cushions... mmmm.... so nice! Also try Naturalizer.

Thanks everyone! :) so I called my cousin and she told me that I shouldn't wear the jeans...but I think I wouldn't have been fine like you all said...I wore black slacks that I had on earlier and a pink botton up shirt. The mother asked me to work this saturday for a "test run" so to speak. Unfortunately, one of the boys might be a hand full...something you see on the nannie show. He is a little aggressive. get the waist taken in, because if the thighs fit, then its a good fit. it wont fall down once you do that, and if u dont feel like it, just wear a cute belt!

It's not see-through or anything, but it will be obvious if you're cold. AA swimsuits do NOT have lining/padding, but it's easy line it yourself, if that's something you want.

And just to let you know, in case you've never tried on an AA swimsuit before, the tops are TINY. For example, I am an XS in Hollister bikinis, but I prefer to buy M tops from AA because the triangles are cut so small!

Affliction is probably the single sexiest brand a guy could ever wear. it can be purchased at the store The Buckle, or online, at a bunch of differant sites

like, for real. any time i see a guy wearing anything affliction, i cant help but stare. yum.

One of my favorite stores is called Jules, but they don't ship to the US =/ You could try Polo for nice shirts, but they're a but more expensive. Urban Outfitters has cool t-shirts you might like (and you won't end up looking like a walking billboard!)

Someone who prefers clothes with a little more class or enjoy the feeling of a more popular style would choose Abercombie/Hollister. Personally for me it depends, i like to keep my style slightly diffrent so if i like a graphic from Hot Topic I'll buy it. If Hollister has a nice shirt that doesn't advertise their brand in every corner I may chose them. I don't beleive clothes should be about their brand.

OK, I have to do a sociology project for school and I thought this would really be a fun idea. I'm going to use certain steriotypes to dress up like say a prep, a goth, emo, etc. and just go around doing everyday errands and see how people react differently depending on how I'm dressed. So what I need you to do is give me a few groups of people and your idea on an outfit that they would generally wear. Thanks so much for your thoughts.

I got my prom dress and i was wondering if this is a good colour to go with and if it suits me..

i personally liked this dress a lot, but i'm having doubts

Reply:The dress is ok. I like the color though. If you go with this dress I think a semi-updo with a few loose curls dangling around the hair and some accessories to bring out the diamond in the middle chest of your dress. The make could be almost natural colors but very eye popping.

Reply:Pretty. I would have my hair set in loose curls %26amp; then i would put the front part of my hair (just the bangs) back with a rhinestone bobby pin. As for make up, i would put black real heavy %26amp; dramatic on the lid, brown in the crease %26amp; gold on the arch of my eye %26amp; artistically blend them all toghether. I would also add eyliner %26amp; wear alot of mascara on my top %26amp; bottom lashes %26amp; i would paint my cheeks a nice bronze color. Clear lip gloss! Let your eyes do the speaking %26amp; you will need the black on your eyes so that everything doesnt look so matchy matchy. Have fun!!
Reply:i think that it is a trurly brilliant colour. I girl at my prom had a very similiar colour dress and was by far the most stunning girl in the room. As for hair and make up, i am not teriably certain as that is something that you really need to know the person before giving accurate advide, sorry hun. i would reccommend though checking out some brouchures and seeing what sort of style is going at your prom, as every one has a slightly different overall trend.

Hi. OK my answer is that I have seen guys who look pretty hot wearing them! Most guys can rock it. But sometimes it's nice to find a clean-cut guy. :)

I view it as OK, if he can rock them, then better.

I would date the guy if he was cute. But I've seen many cute guys without them. I mostly like guys who don't wear them but it depends I don't care if he has earrings or not if he looks cute then sure!

I usually wear boot cut jeans, and I thought maybe I should try something new. I'm 16, just under 5'4" and somewhere between 120 and 125 pounds (usually a size 4-6). I am not fat but I do HAVE some fat on me a little on my lower belly and a little on my inner upper thighs... sorry if that sounds gross. But I'm kind of short and not super skinny, so I'm afraid I would look terrible in them. What do you think?

I wear mine with cute little tunic tops or babydoll tops... and i think heels go best with them bcuz heels lengthen your leg. but flats are adorable too. don't do flip flops or sneakers tho... cuz then it will just make your legs look stumpy. but as far as being on the curvier side.. so am i... not a whole lot but enough that skinny jeans look extra sexy because they hug my curves all the way down. I have gotten more compliments in skinny jeans than i hav in any other kind. ;)
